Connecting to the GEC Hub

If you would like to obtain a connection to the GEC Hub, please follow the steps below:

  1. Choose the connection type that best suits your needs whether it be Automotive Network Exchange (ANX), Public Internet Virtual Private Network(PI VPN), Value Added Network (VAN) or Public Internet. Be sure to consider the cost and reliability of your desired solution. To view the secured types of connections available at Ford, visit:
  2. Complete the connection request form if your desired connection type is ANX or PIVPN

    IMPORTANT: To Establish a new ANX or VPN connection to Ford, visit: for instructions.

  3. Complete an EDI Connection Request Form from 'Important Links' below
  4. Test your connection with Ford

NOTE: All passwords at Ford Motor Company must be changed annually.

In order to obtain your VAN connection to the GEC Hub, you must complete and submit the "EDI Connection Request" form located in the "Important Information" table above. Please refer to the "GEC Hub Connection Requirements" document found in the "Important Information" table above if you would like additional information
