Suppliers are responsible for the management of the EDI documents. Suppliers utilizing a VAN's service should contact their VAN about document retention and redelivery. Please call 888-317-4957 and open a ticket to be routed to the GEC Hub - SOLMIS group. The retention period for all documents on the GEC Hub is 14 days.

The 997 Functional Acknowledgement is produced BEFORE the data goes to DDL. Ensure that an accepted 997 has been generated. If so and the ASN is not in the DDL, you have the following options:

YES. Suppliers are requested to continue sending 997s after pulling documents from the GEC Hub. While the functionality of clearing the mailbox or making documents as received is now automatic, several applications at Ford Motor Company still process the information from the 997.

First, check the EDI Connection Status Page in order to check the status of your own connections. If all connection servers are up and you are still unable to connect, please call 888-317-4957 to open a ticket to be routed to TSO Trading Partner. An analyst will contact you.
Contact your Ford buyer to obtain a supplier code(s) by which your company is identified to Ford. Then go to the Connection Requests Page and review the EDI process document. Review the connection options and make the best business decision for your company. After your connection has been established, please submit the appropriate online request form. An analyst will contact you to assist you through the set up and testing process.
Refer to the EDI Connectivity Requirements Document to review the connectivity options available. After reviewing the options, make the best business choice for your company. After completing the set up, please fill out the EDI Request Form.
If connecting via a VAN, please have the new profile added with that VAN. Next, fill out the EDI Request Form. If your company has an ANX direct connection, fill out the EDI Request Form.
Suppliers are not migrating to the ANX. They are migrating from SOLMIS to the GEC Hub. Connectivity to the GEC Hub is done through the ANX. The ANX is a separate entity from Ford Motor Company. For information in regards to migrating from SOLMIS to the GEC Hub, go to the Connectivity Page. For more information about ANX, go to the ANX Website.
NO. Because of the set up and routing required, only one connection type can be supported per GSDB code.
Check the Ford Motor Company Registered VAN Providers to ensure your VAN is one of the registered VANs. Contact the new VAN and complete the setup required by the VAN. After completing the trading partner set up and testing the new VAN, please fill out the Connection Request Form.
